Service Description
While hay tests can provide valuable information for ALL horses, they are especially recommended when specific NSC targets (metabolic/laminitis/ulcer prone) are needed, when struggling with hoof or muscle quality, or for those wanting to fortify a grain-free or hay-only diet accurately. This service includes: ✔️ On-site visit to collect the hay sample via forage sampler. ✔️ Sample handling & transport to forage analysis lab. ✔️ Lab analysis interpretation & recommendations to help you understand the hay test results. *+ Mileage fee may apply depending on location. *Price does not include HST. Looking to combine this with a nutrition consult? The Targeted Nutrition Consult service includes hay analysis and might be a great fit! HAVE YOUR OWN SAMPLE? Book an "Interpretation Only" hay testing service and receive a interpretation + basic recommendation report. Note that H-On Farm Hay Testing services INCLUDE interpretation, and that the Interpretation Only service is designed for clients who we cannot support in-person due to geographical location.
